Encore at the O2 Forum
The O2 Forum on November 5th was a fantastic event, which marked the end of the band’s 2023 UK tour. It was played to a packed audience of around 2,500 enthusiastic fans. Stornoway consistently sent the crowd into raptures with a fantastic set including old hits and new numbers before leaving the stage to a HUGE ovation. With the crowd baying for an encore, and before Stornoway took to the stage, the Gwalia came out from behind the curtain and lined up. This was an intentional surprise which increased the noise level of the crowd to deafening pitch. And this was before we started singing. We then combined with the band to sing three of their well-loved songs for the encore, and once again received a deafening applause from a quite young appreciative audience while the gig received rave reviews on social-media and from the music press.
Stornoway press ; Perhaps the biggest highlight of our recent UK tour was when the choir joined us at our London headline show at the Kentish Town Forum.
It was an amazing experience to play to a mostly young indie-rock audience. Many thanks to Stornoway for inviting us to collaborate on such an exciting event.
