Cannizaro House, Wimbledon

On Sat Nov 13th a group of us appeared at the lovely setting of Cannizaro House, Wimbledon  to join the 80th birthday party of Laine Heath, a Wimbledon based Welsh lady, whose family hailed from Ton and Merthyr.  We sang a mainly Welsh selection of numbers, many of which she remembered from being sang to her as a child. A lovely and intimate recital, it also celebrated the birthdays of her daughter Catherine and granddaughter Anna. We were honoured to be invited there and thank her for her family’s hospitality.
