Raucous afternoon at Crystal Palace

The final gig of July saw the choir perform at the well-known Westow House, Crystal Palace. The event was a organised as charity fundraiser for Home Start Lambeth. After the Gwalia opened the event with a very upbeat programme, the event continued with the Renegade Choir followed by the Salty Shanty Boys. The appreciative crowd gave all choirs a fantastic ovation, which at times got quite raucous, especially during the finale of crowd-participating sea shanties.
