An evening workshop at the Tea House Theatre

On 29th of January, the choir performed at the Tea House Theatre in Vauxhall Gardens.

This wonderfully small quirky building is now a small oasis for breakfast and lunches, but during most evenings it serves as a small bar that hosts an extremely diverse series of cultural events involving Music, Comedy, Debates, Poetry and Theatrical evenings.

The Gwalia created a little bit of Welsh Culture when we provided the venue with a performance which was more of a workshop than a concert. This hybrid format consisted of both a short concert coupled with the audience getting involved with the choir, in typical rehearsal fashion.

There was much positive feedback from the Tea House management and audience, so hopefully it may be the first of many such visits.

Many thanks to the Tea House Theatre for their optimism in promoting the evening.
