St. David’s Day National Liberal Club

March 2nd saw the Gwalia give a post-dinner performance at the beautiful National Liberal Club in Whitehall.
The 30 minute concert followed the after-dinner speeches, and was warmly appreciated by an audience who were more than willing to join in with the singing during a few classic Welsh numbers. A few of the audience even came and joined the choir for a drink or two, to show their appreciation for our performance.
Although the performance started a lot later than scheduled, well-done to the choir members who performed with such enthusiasm. Even more impressive was the fact that the very well-stocked beer table had not been finished by the end of the evening.
