Remote Rehearsals through the Lockdown

Although our weekly rehearsals have been curtailed by the enforced Coronovirus lock-down, the Gwalia have still been singing together thanks to our MD Wyn Hyland. We have been experimenting with the hosting of our rehearsals online. Although suffering the obvious limitations presented by the differing lags in the speed of each members internet connections, it remains a great vehicle for note-bashing and pronunciation.

With all the attendees muted apart from Wyn, it gives everyone the opportunity to interact with Wyn and the piano, before being un-muted for a general discussion and feedback.

Not only does it help the continuity of the choir, but it serves as a welcome, friendly get-together as the banter flows between the songs.

Well done Wyn. Great Idea.
